New Art Gallery
Celebrated British DJ and drum and bass pioneer Goldie is all set to open his contemporary art gallery in Charoenkrung’s Warehouse 30 this month. Appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2016 for his services to music and young people, it’s no surprise that Goldie has brought together some of the world’s leading graffiti and contemporary artists for the establishment of Aurum Gallery. Notable names include Vhils, best known for his oversized portraits, carved directly into walls; Saturno, renowned for his vivid murals that combine fantasy and realism with impressive effect; and Belin, who rose to fame thanks to his unique urban postneocubism-style.
