The House on Sathorn at W Bangkok proudly presents the third edition of its Cross Culture Weekend, celebrating the vibrant and diverse culture of South Asia. From 15 to 17 November 2024, this unique event will offer an immersive journey through the rich traditions, flavors, and innovations of South Asian cuisine and mixology.
Savor the culinary creations of Chef Rahul Myron Remedios, chef from Jamun restaurant under Passcode Hospitality, a renowned brand in the F&B industry in India, throughout the weekend at Paii from 6pm to 11pm.
Chef Rahul Myron Remedios shapes dessert programs at Saz American Brasserie and PCO Cocktail Bar in Mumbai. He has expanded to cuisine-based menus, blending Indian and Middle Eastern flavors. With a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu Sydney and experience at Hyatt Hotels, he returned to India. He collaborated with Chef Rahul Gomes Pereira, Executive Chef at Passcode Hospitality, specializing in Indian cuisine using local ingredients. Recently, Chef Rahul Gomes Pereira was ranked 12th in India’s 30 Top Chefs 2024. Working with Chef Rahul Gomes Pereira has helped Chef Rahul Myron Remedios rise as a star in India’s culinary scene, known for his creativity and precision.
In addition, Bar Sathorn will welcome renowned guest mixologists from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka from 15 – 17 November 2024.

Vikas Kumar is an innovative leader in India’s cocktail scene with over 12 years of experience. He blends local ingredients with modern methods at the PCO Lab and was named Mixologist of the Year at The Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2023. PCO, a hidden speakeasy, has won numerous awards, including Best Bar in New Delhi for six years and #54 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2022.

Santanu Chanda, the award-winning mixologist from Home, Delhi, India
Santanu Chanda is an award-winning mixologist and head of Home Delhi, ranked #58 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars and #8 in India’s 30 Best Bars. Known for his innovative cocktails and passion for hospitality, he has won numerous global mixology competitions. At Home Delhi, he leads a team using seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices to create memorable drinks inspired by Far East Asia and global flavours.
Jairaj Singh Solanki from Lair, Delhi, India
Jairaj Singh Solanki is a dynamic entrepreneur and Le Cordon Bleu graduate who founded Asianhaus, India’s first fine dining delivery service. He now manages Naaya Hospitality, overseeing four brands, including Lair, a modern speakeasy in New Delhi. Under his leadership, Lair has been recognised as the 3rd best bar in India and 68th in Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

Don Ransinghe from Smoke & Bitters, Matara, Sri Lanka
Don, co-owner and head of the drinks program at Smoke & Bitters, started in London’s nightclub scene. In January 2020, he and his friend Lahiru opened Smoke & Bitters on Sri Lanka’s beaches. Ranked #29 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, it combines tiki influences, smoky flavors, and Sri Lankan ingredients, emphasizing house-made ingredients and wood-fire cooking.
