This year, the Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz, or Know India Quiz Contest will be held online. Hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Government of India (Overseas Indian Affairs II Division), the quiz is split into groups depending on eligibility, with the three categories encompassing PIOs, NRIs, and foreigners between the ages of 18 to 35 years old. 

The quiz includes four rounds done via an online platform:

The first round is a welcome round that’s open to everyone. Winners will receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. 

The second round is where winners of the first round participate. 

The third round includes the top 10 contenders of the second round.

Finally, the fourth and final round is the top 7 contenders from the third round.

For the final winners, there will be five  in each participating category (three medal winners and two consolation prizes). All 15 winners will be invited to tour India after the COVID-19 pandemic ends.
