Bang Bang Burgers
Adding to Bangkok’s impressive list of burger restaurants, Bang Bang Burgers is a ‘burger and booze joint packed full of flavour and originality.’ But what really sets them apart? The team focuses on crafting the perfect housemade patty ranging from grass-fed beef to plant-based options. Moreover, rather than sticking to one type, their offers span smashburgers, cheese burgers, fried chicken burgers, veg burgers, and even lettuce wraps. Highlights include the Iron Mike (THB 155), named after Mike Tyson, which features soft bread, smashed patty, American cheese, sautéed onions, dill pickles, and their ‘magic sauce’; and the Angry bird (THB 280) made with a crusted patty coated with chilli powder from Thailand’s North.

Cupcake Street
Having launched earlier this year, Cupcake Street is a home-style bakery that follows a New York City concept. Their flavours are inspired by different neighbourhoods and cultural icons from NYC and include delights such as the Tribeca pretzel, ultra-chocolatey Brooklyn cupcakes, the red velvet-inspired Lady Audrey, and the Chuck and Blair that pays homage to Gossip Girl’s (2007) most memorable couple. Since its introduction, the brand has already caught the eye of several Thai celebrities including Ice Apitsada, Piraya Singha, and Tanya Rae Engtrakul despite it being a new addition to Bangkok’s buzzing dessert scene. Currently, pre-orders are required and you can do so via their social media pages. They can also accommodate custom orders. Instagram: @cupcakestreetbkk

On the menu are delights like Sorpresine (THB 320), handmade pasta with a spicy vodka sauce; the Trofie (THB 420), eggless pasta served with pistachio pesto and burrata; the Bangkok hot (THB 520) a pizza topped with salami, spicy sausage, meatballs, mozzarella, and pickled chilli; and the indulgent Truffle pizza (THB 780) with black truffle, mascarpone, and arugula.
