HAILAND SIGNS MOU WITH INDIA FOR ADDITIONAL FLIGHTS
Following Thailand’s decision to offer visa-free entry for Indians until 10 May 2024, both parties have penned a new agreement that will further enhance the capacities of airlines from both nations. Currently, the likes of Air India, IndiGo,SpiceJet and Vistara continue their seamless flow of air traffic to and from Bangkok and Phuket. With 75 flights per day, the new MoU is set to inject more air routes between the two countries and immediately add 7,000 more seats, followed by another 7,000, which expands the current capacity from 32,000 to 46,000 seats per week. Additionally,Thailand has added Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Surat Thani, and Udon Thani to its list of accessible destinations.
