Amari Watergate Bangkok is ready to serve up a big fat Indian wedding.

Established five-star property, Amari Watergate Bangkok, invited Thailand’s Indian wedding planners for a two-day familiarisation trip packed with fun-filled activities over the weekend of the 4th-5th of March 2022. Area General Manager Sukamal Mondal planned the incredible opportunity for wedding planners to familiarise themselves with the hotel’s dedicated team, and with their wide range of facilities available for future weddings.
The planners checked in on the 4th of March and were treated to a formal dinner overlooking Bangkok’s dazzling skyline at the Executive Lounge on the 32nd floor. There, attendees were given a chance to meet and network with each other, and get their first glimpse into what the hotel can offer to their clients. They were also introduced to the culinary options available at the property, spanning Indian, Italian, Asian and Continental cuisines, spoiling guests for choice.
The next day began with a refreshing poolside breakfast, with a choice of Indian or Continental cuisine, followed by a photo competition in their lush garden. Planners were then given an exclusive tour of the Watergate Ballroom to encourage them to envision the next wedding at the property. The property boasts a ballroom that can accommodate up to a thousand people, perfect for big fat Indian weddings.
Afterwards, attendees were taken to the Amaya Food Gallery for an interactive cocktail-making session, where they could create their own personalised cocktail with their choice of ingredients. Afterwards, lunch was served, and guests were able to sample the hotel’s Asian and International offerings. During this time, Amari Watergate was also hosting a wedding fair that attendees were urged to attend. Before they checked out, attendees were able to spend an hour pampering themselves at the pool, spa or gym, all activities that wedding guests could indulge in, in-between festivities. Overall, the weekend was a great event, and we can’t wait to attend the next big Indian wedding at Amari Watergate Bangkok.
