New Restaurant

Currently in its soft opening, el Willy Kitchen (pictured above) is the brainchild of celebrated Chef Willy Trullàs Moreno who has launched restaurants all around the world, including Tomatito, which had branches in Saigon and Manila. el Willy Kitchen, now open in Sukhumvit Soi 51, is the chef’s first restaurant in Thailand. Known for including a lot of bold flavours in his cooking, the restaurant is touted as a ‘happy Spanish kitchen,’ where the chef will be taking elements of traditional Spanish cuisine and giving them a funky reimagining. He also hopes to elevate what we recognise as ‘tapas’ dining, giving small plates a fun twist. Currently, the restaurant is offering two chef’s menus served sharing style priced at THB 2,000++ and THB 3,000++ respectively.

New Delivery Service

Dumplings Bangkok offers an array of handcrafted dumplings inspired by international variations. Available in portions of eight, 16, and 24, their menu is divided into preferred fillings that range from pork and chicken-filled dumplings to potato and cottage cheese varieties. Now, I consider myself a dumpling enthusiast as I could eat them every single day of my life, but even then, some of the options on their menu have piqued my interest. These include their North Pole dumplings stuffed with meat, cinnamon, zucker, raisins, and apple sauce; Sweden dumplings stuffed with creamed gravy and cranberry jam; and Austrian dumplings served with a mixed mushroom cream jus. They even offer a Thai version, where dumplings are tossed in a krapao sauce!
