A dockside delight!

Masala’s Dockside Diwali took place on the 30th of October, bringing together the Thai-Indian community for a fun-filled celebration of the Festival of Lights. The event was held on the brand-new Sirimahannop The Heritage, a new drinking and dining establishment launched by Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. The enchanting venue, which is permanently docked at Asiatique The Riverfront, is a detailed replica of the last three-masted ship officially used by The Royal Thai Navy.
With its enchanting, classical stylings, Sirimahannop The Heritage transported guests back to the days of Thailand’s seafaring past by channelling an air of historical splendour. Timeless wooden furnishings and nautical motifs added some extra magic to an already enchanting event filled with Bollywood beats, glittering lights, and first-class cuisine.
The event kicked off with guests drinking and dining on the upper deck, tucking into tapas-inspired dishes expertly prepared by the Sirimahannop team. As guests caught up with cherished friends and family, DJ Xunny Dey set a fun and vibrant ambience with a mix of Bollywood hits and remixes. He was accompanied by talented live musicians, including percussionist Didier Mpondo and saxophonist Antonio Pedrero Garcia.
Top-shelf refreshments kept guests satiated while they eagerly awaited the reveal of the evening’s raffle. The lucky draw included a range of enticing prizes such as restaurant vouchers and hotel stays. Following the results of the raffle, guests headed down to the lower deck where the night’s celebrations continued. An electrifying set of classic and modern Bollywood hits by DJ Ash had guests dancing the night away.
From the upbeat atmosphere, it was evident that Dockside Diwali gave all guests who joined a night full of spectacular, lasting memories. The event was a fitting celebration of the important occasion of Diwali, all thanks to the support and attendance of Masala’s many friends and well-wishers.
